I am Adriana and I live in London. I have started years ago with a course in making ladies mules. I loved it so much, I switched careers from set designer to shoes and leathergoods designer. I have a masters degree in fashion, but only when I set myself the goal to become a mastercraft women rather than a computer based designer, I have started to finally, enjoy the possibilities and realise my ideas. I have had the privilege to work for established bespoke shoes companies in the west end. I have worked and met incredibly talented, famous, and humble craftsman, like Terry Moore, at Fosters and Sons, and the entire family of craftsman and craftswomen at John Lobb Bootmakers. Extra and extraordinaryand experiences. I am very shy and uncomfortable about speaking of my achievements, but I have recently realised it's so important to share and also more for me is to show my gratitude. Enough said about the past. I have had the wonderful surprise to become a mother again after a long time, and took the time to actually work on my dream to have a workshop, partly also because it became an absolute necessity. I had made the transition to a long love of mine, handbags and vintage travel luxury cases. At present I have finalised my workshop, working from home, under my own company name, Atelier Dickson. Since I have started making handbags, (last year ago)I am taking orders on bespoke bags and sandals orders have picked up, too. I have developed these for over four years, on and off. I am here to share and learn and I am happy to meet you all.
