Hi Phil @Leathercraft Masterclass...thanks for replying. I'm in a warm and humid climate but I'm able to work inside and air-conditioned room, so I'm guessing that's not the primary issue. It may be the simple physical process of how glue like this dries when applied and spread from a squeeze bottle. I'll experiment with a few things including Fadi's suggestion of using a brush and maybe dispensing the glue from a wide-mouth container that I can dip my spatula into. Super suggestion to iron the interfacing. I haven't yet cut the panels to the pattern. After I do, I'll try to gauge how well adhered the canvas is. Thanks!!!

Hey @Fadi thanks so much. So you use a "paintbrush"...interesting. Do you actually dip the brush in your glue tub to charge it up with glue or do you apply it quickly with a spatula and then get to brushing/spreading it? I may just go ahead and order some Evostik. The manufacturer of the glue I used also sells a "fast drying" formula and they advertise a drying time of 35 minutes for that product. I couldn't find anything for the glue I used but unless I spread it super thick, the whiteness went clear in probably a minute or so. I'm dispensing it out of its original container which is a squeeze bottle and I had the best luck laying thick rows of glue all over the surface and then quickly using a spatula to spread it. But by the time I'd finish spreading the glue ridges that form from either side of the spatula, other glue would already by dry. I really like the suggestion of a brush. I'll test that out. Probably that plus a different glue formulation will do the trick. Thanks!

I found them on Aliexpress and my order of 3.38 irons arrived (to the US) in about a week. They're glorious. Only disappointment is that they didn't come with any extra prongs. Thanks for the perspective Philip. It's reassuring actually to hear you say how long some of your projects have been in development. I'm imagining that makers who have succeeded in building a primarily custom order business (to which I aspire) have developed reusable component patterns (basic bag structure, accessory attachment options, handles, etc). The LCF course looks awesome. I'm inspired to look for similar options where I'm at in the US. There's a college of art and design 90 minutes away...might get lucky. Thanks!

I looked all over online and in the garage for an acceptable weight with no luck. Then the other day I stumbled on the perfect weights. I had an old cheapo dumbbell set with screw-on weights.

@Leathercraft Masterclass I am absolutely that nerdy. I actually use OneNote exactly as you describe. I have a page full of notes, techniques I hadn't seen/heard before, supplies/tools I might want someday, from just your pattern-making video alone. Thanks for the awesome content!

If I could add to this interesting thread...a smart man I once worked for pointed out to me that the best pricing for a given product is whatever the market will bear. If your cost to produce the product is sufficiently lower than what the market will bear, then great...you can make a nice profit. If your cost (material plus how much you value your time) doesn't allow you to make a profit, that would not be a great thing to make (if profit is the goal). That said, I can definitely appreciate the temptation to look for a formula like those shared in this thread to try to estimate what the market will bear. But I suspect there are far too many variables impacting what you could sell your goods for (your photography skills, your social influence, your choice of design aesthetic, etc.) for any formula to be very accurate. I haven't yet begun selling any of the stuff I make yet, but I'm looking more at the class, quality and (subjective) desirability of products I'm particularly fond of and trying to use more of a competitive analysis like that to help me set pricing.
