This was my first go at a zippy wallet. First off.....not sure I like zippers! Going to take a bit more practice with those!! Phillips tutorial on the card slot was just what I needed to finish this up. I enjoyed the process of making the template based on what my wife wanted and then figuring out how to put it all the pieces together in the correct order. I think a few more tries are in order to correct some mistakes but overall, I think for a first attempt it turned out quite well.

You're added.
How hard was it to work with stingray?
I just noticed that you’re in Atlanta. I’m in Atlanta too and so is one other person.
@Philip How much time would an old (youngish, actually) pro like you estimate to make on of these? Thanks!
@Hamish Hopkins Nice job! I really like your logo, I don't think I've seen it before.
Yeah zips can be frustrating as hell. Weirdly I love installing them lol
I'm sure the wife was happy!
That‘s very impressive. I’m trying to do more zipper projects but i’m still on simple pouches.
Not having made one like that, I'm impressed, too. Looks like a lot of detail in a small space to a person like me who tends to make crossbody bags.
Thanks for all the shots of this terrific project. I've already put Phil's card-slot tutorial into practice, as well.
Once you got this design down, how long do you think it would take to make a zippy wallet?
In the spirit of "happy wife, happy life," is your client pleased?
Wallet looks great! I love the design.
I have a love/”dislike“ relationship with zippers. I love the usefulness and functionality they provide. I dislike the installation process. I almost always feel it could have gone better.
