My daughter wanted a tote bag and so I made this for her. It’s a fairly simple design but by the time you take into account the straps and lining there is about 4000 stitches. Unfortunately when I showed it to her the response was underwhelming. Apparently it’s too ‘mature’ for her!
@mt63 I think it's a really great bag. I'm sure it will be one that she grows into as she gets older.
Did you ask her what style of bag she wanted, or was this a complete surprise?

this is such a beautiful tote bag, i specially love love love the flowery liner. Gorgeous!
Also, love the bottom shape you went for with the feet and reinforced bottom.
