hi, made a money clip wallet out of some scraps of goatskin. tried some edge paint samples i got from metropolitan leather. was pretty tricky to apply, although i did it with an awl, dont have any applicators, so that could be why.
happy with it, although i think the .45mm thread looks a bit thin for the 3.37 pricking iron. ordered some in .55mm. i also did the linings first, so could only crease on the bottoms of the card slots. i put some interfacing inbetween the leather as well to try and stiffen it slightly, although not sure if it made a difference.
working on a cover for a notebook next and a sleeve/envelope for a small laptop. just trying to get it all together in illustrator where i can work out all the stitching positions and overlaps.
hopefully get it all finished and printed out this week. might look at doing mockups in cinema 4d to make sure everything works first.

hi Philip,
yes, got a couple of benches in there, and room for 1 more when needed, so all good. i think i will be lining it as well over the next few weeks just to keep it as warm as possible. just need to make some storage, so i will be watching your upcoming video on this, as i still have things in boxes.
thanks for all the comments and videos - looking forward to the bag making and lining
