Here's a little set I finished recently. Beautiful blue Togo leather, lined with grey Kangaroo, stitched with turquoise linen thread and turquoise edge paint.
It really is a beautiful leather, it feels amazing and soft. I had a little trouble splitting it evenly with the Bell Skiver, it kept leaving tracks on the edges of the cut. Although this probably had more to do with my lack of skills with the machine. The one thing you do need to be careful with is the tension of your stitching, because the leather is so soft and it has a certain amount of stretch, if you pull your stitches too tight it can make the run of stitches appear crooked. I would suggest matching thread with this leather until you get used to it. Also, if you split it thin you may want a non-stretch reinforcement. Hope this make sense. Cheers
@Doug Beautiful work my friend, I really love that colour combination!
How did you find working with Togo?
