So, I have been trying to make the passport holder for a week now. I just don't have the ability yet to hand skive this project and end up with a piece of leather that is the same size as the pattern. I will save it for another time. My skiving has improved though. So here is another watch strap. The keep is a little heavy and I should have used my new found skiving skills to thin it down!

@nealeselwood Fantastic work! A really nice angle to those stitches.
You could always undo the stitching and carefully tease out the keeper so that you can skive it thinner. Shouldn't take too long or be too much fuss.
Did you make a running keeper to go with the strap? You've got a bit of excess there that may get caught up on things.
Overall a great finish! and a beautiful bit of goat behind it too, any plans?
