I made this one last week, I was very happy to do it in just one day (except for the edge paint, of course).
-Outer leather: vegetable tanned by Curtidos Atienza (Spain). Its smell is like a drug 😋
-Lining: suede pigskin (and here you will tell me that would have been better to use goatskin, but I liked this one and also it was thinner- I don’t have a skiving machine).🐷🐷🐷
-Thread: Lin cable 532 (Ecru).
- Edge paint: Uniters (chocolate brown.🍫)
Next one will be probably in Novonappa 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Hi Maru, very good job! It‘s looking great. 👍
Looks stunning, like the contrast between thread and leather. Hope mine looks as well finished. The leather course you did in France, is that the one run by ex Hermes employees? Is it conducted in french? Sorry for all the questions. Look forward to seeing your other projects. Thanks
@Maru Tuchi Beautiful work there, the stitching looks great. I really like that leather, has a nice natural warmth.
where did you learn your stitching!!!!!!!! beautiful
I really like the envelope form, Maru. Nice job! What function does this serve? I saw a plan somewhere that's a small leather envelope that has a cardholder inside -- looked like a fairly efficient way to make a wallet with lots of room and slots for cards.
