About a month ago I posted in the forum, asking about recommendations for bench heights. Well since then I have moved cities (to finish my degree) and I finally had the space and opportunity to make something resembling a work bench!
It's elbow height, which is about 120cm for me and has some storage underneath for my sharpening stones, rulers and other misc items. I added some tool storage and a super handy movable light from IKEA, for 10 euros you really can't beat it. The cupboard on the left houses my dyes, glues, waxes and sandpaper but also some of my glasses and mugs (still just a student room).
Anyway, I would like to thank @smithdal, @Trevor Allen, @Fadi, @Johan Koelma and @Leathercraft Masterclass for all their excellent advice on how to go about it 😁
Here it is!
@lowlandsleathercompany Looking really good! I hope you enjoy your new work space :)
Looks really nice and tidy. I daren't post pictures of my work benches, they are an absolute mess with tools and things everywhere. I think this might just make me have a massive tidy up at the weekend.
Top ! You have been busy
