This was more than anything else an exercise in stitching Alligator with a thin lining 0.5mm Chevre Sully than anything else. I used a Lin Cable #832 and pricking irons (no awl this time). I like how it turned out.

Also tried my hand at "Oh no! I am not using the sun's light" photography. Shot at night with artificial lights.

P.S: @Daniel Styffe , see what snaps I used... ouch!
Great job, Fadi. To see how excellent you handle new materials is adorable.
wow.. great work. What irons did you use ?
Looking Sharp!
Hopefully it's the "antiqueing" causing the troubles as you mentioned:)
Beautiful job! I have to admit I zoomed on the snap in the Instagram post.

I glued the lining flat in the table. The thinking was that it is a 0.5mm lining and that the wrinkles would be minimal and also they would be in places that could not be seen.
Also, gluing a lining with bends in 4 different direction would have been to complicated for me.
@Fadi That's some really great work there my friend. Lined with tonal thread on the outside, neatly stitched with well executed edgework.
Well done! are you glad you didn't wrap those snaps using water based glue? :D:D:D
Yyyaaayyyyy!!!
I like it very much!!! I like also your braveness (sorry, don’t know if that is well written) to make just ‘a test’ with alligator.
I would tell you for next time, not to forget creasing the edges in the goat side and it will add a perfect touch.
My friend, that’s a good job 👍🏻 keep it up!!!
