How to put it in an elegant manner: Compared to Tokonole, Gum Tracaganth is poop!
Seriously, in edge burnishing, if you don't want to go the beeswax way (which is harder and more difficult to master), Tokonole is the absolute best! It's extremly easy to work with and gives you good results from the start.
The only thing i would advise you regarding Tokonole, is not to use it on items that will be in direct contact with water (Like motorcycle saddlebags for example), from experience, it tends to not stand up to it very well.

I've used both...My vote is for tokonole.
