Just thought I'd share a little project from 2018.
Jubilee case in Black Yves Saint Laurent calf. Custom solid brass hardware and Osage Orange wood.
When I'm in the shop I'll often brainstorm by playing with different materials, creating shapes and just seeing where it leads. This one started with the brass rectangular frame and the rest just fell into place.
Here are a couple of process pics of the case and the hardware, in the opposite order I was planning to insert them...sorry about that.
