So I've made a watch strap after seeing the course. All-in-all it went ok-ish I think but oh-my I learnt alot for the next one!
Made it in black salmonleather with orange thread and pigskin lining to match my diver Squale 1521 50atmos:>
Think salmon matches a divewatch in Norway quite well!:)
Posted it on a Norwegian watch-enthusiast community I'm in on Facebook and actually got quite spammed with orders. Which are my first ever commissions (hurray🎉), so thank you @Philip :)
PS. OMGthephotosautorotate90°again?! x.x
Go Daniel, go Daniel, GOOOO
Good job mate and congrats on the comissions :)
I shall be making mine soon, it will be a gift for my dad for his bday. I got the leather (Brown Matte Alligator), the lining (Black Chevre) and the filling ready. still need to get the edge paint and the buckles.
Soon soon :D
@Daniel Styffe You're welcome brother! This is why I do this. Luxury and craftsmanship never go out of fashion.
I can't wait to see your next watch strap! I always find the second attempt of anything is always 50% better followed by the 3rd being 25% better and so forth. The apex version being dependant on how good your first attempt was (natural skill) and how long you can keep finding problems (critical eye).
If that is your first attempt, you're gonna do well!
Heyyy! it looks good! I like the mix of black/orange, and the salmon skin gives it a special touch.
Congrats for your first commisioned orders!!!! well done mate :)
