be honest, i like the touch feeling of goat skin more than lizard skin on this project. goat skin is more soft. lizard skin is a little bit rigid, maybe i used wrong enforcement. the lizard skin came with 0.4 mm thickness, i had to glue an enforcement of at least 0.8mm to make it thicker, resulting in more rigid.
