Sorry for the long delay in responding to your questions. I'm guessing you've already started (or maybe even finished) your bag. But just in case, here are some answers.

1) Perlinger is the tannery for the Alpine Shrunken Calf

2) For the lining, I used the stuff Phil had in the course supplies. It was listed on buyleatheronline.com. I don't love it, but it probably does clean up pretty well. Not great quality, it seemed to me.

3) Sedgwick English Bridle has a thick and hard wax coating on it. It made it very difficult to heat crease and to foil stamp...especially since I tried to do it "by hand". Sedgwick is also very very dense and harder to cut, skive and work with. So making the handles and all the piping was a bit of a chore too. I hope it will wear like iron, but I don't know because I have no experience with how it wears over time. It seems to me like it's pretty bombproof.

In the end, it all turned out very lovely and should be a bag that will last a very long time.
