I thought I better post something as I've been very vocal on everyone else's posts of late 😬🙄
So the outer is Walpier Dollaro in whiskey and the lining and internals is Bakers of Colyton oak bark tan in russet.... or if you fancy and stuffs au naturale 😎. It was good to work through a few new processes I came up with and also exploring thicknesses for the lined pieces. I am going to remake with my modification on the pattern and a drop in thickness as low as I/others who have given advice dare to go and then give it a good old abuse test to see how it holds up.
That's about it really 😅
A very well executed and clean wallet Daniel! Edge finishing and stitching is spot on there.
As the Dollaro is bi-coloured, I would love to have seen the thread colour matched to either the burnt orange or mid brown seen on the hide. But I'm a big fan of subtle contrasting threads anyway, so personal taste really. Edge paint colour matching the thread would then tie it all together.
