Hello everyone,
I thought I'd share my project that I recently finished. This was made for my husband's birthday and it was very intense making it. It took nearly 2 weeks and half, plus another half of week to just checking everything... and found the strap was too long so I had to fix it... ;)
As this was for a men and wanted rustic style of a bag, I chose Badalassi Carlo: Nemesis, vege-tanned and aniline finished hide. This was my first time using aniline finished leather and I enjoyed working with it.
All the hardwares are antique finished solid brass, a micro suede for lining, and pig suede for inner pocket lining;I would really love to use velour when I can get to it but since I already had a pig skin on hand, I used this one on this project.
I would really love to add more slots inside of the bag and install tuck lock with buckle as I originally planed. I had to modify my design plans due to material shortages and technical challenges 😂... but I hope to do better next time, if I make a messenger bag again. 😉
Thanks!
Cheers,
Young
