Hello, here is a satchel I have been working on the last few weekends. The outer is chrome tanned, wth the main pieces minus the gusset and the top being stiffened with 0.8mm stiff veg tan leather. The lining is gloving lambskin but very thin 0.5mm. stitched at 8spi with 0.5mm thread.
I bound all the edges as I think it is quicker than edge painting. I still have the strap to finish.
