Greetings to you all.
My name is Youngoak. Born and rasied in S.Korea, immigrant to U.S. about 10 years ago. I am a mother of two kids, a cat, and two dogs, well, my Lily dog has passed last Friday, Dec 18, 2020 so now I have one dog... RIP Lily.
How did I get started leatherwork? Well, initially I wanted to do interiors for my husbands car, 56' Dodge pickup truck and while I was waiting for the car to be restored, cough cough still waiting... ;) I couldn't help myself to test out my new sewing machine, so just one day, I went to Tandy Leather, got two different leather and made a tote bag which was half sewn by machine and half hand-stitched where I couldn't reach by the machine... after that, I couldn't stop playing with leather, hand stitching leather, made many more of little items and felt in love of doing it. I love leather! I think from my young age, I always loved them, envy of good leather item, but what I am most impressed about or love about is how some of stitches are so beautifully organized and sewn to a perfection. So since Sep of 2019, I am crazy about leatherwork, the whole process, and will be maintaining my love for leatherwork.
At this point, I have a one goal, get my skill sharpen/improved by watching Philip's video course! ;) And then I will fully decided what to do next.
See you around people!
Thanks,
Young
