Hi all,
My name is Heather and I live in Montana with my husband and daughter. My dad was an extraordinary craftsman- custom home builder, leather holster maker and artist. In college I did printmaking and woodcutting and dabbled with wood burning (pyrography). My dad passed away and honestly I was looking for a way to connect with his legacy and use creative work to help heal some of the feelings of loss. I set out to make a holster of my own and purchased some leather tools. Boy, I haven’t looked back. This leather craft has become a full on obsession for me and I feel a sense of connection with my dad also as a result of completing projects and problem solving along the way.
I have been very drawn to western style tooling and hand stitching and enrolled in the Master class to learn new techniques and develop a cleaner more professional style.
looking forward to sharing with everyone-
Heather
