I'm Marie and I discovered leathercraft like... 5 or 6 years ago as a hobby. Two years later i decided to give it a damn go and be more regular in this craft. I always love to learn about new techniques, new tools and leathercrafters (that's quite tiring to be honest but hey, my mind has its way 😂).
I'm interested in fine luxury products (aaah those glass edges and flawless cuts in smooth leather) so when I went across Philip courses I almost immediately bought the whole plan and sticked on it !
I mostly use thick leather (1,5mm-2mm and even to 3mm for some bags or belts) because I can't seem to find a good supplier of thin leather (<1mm and 1-1,5mm)... Like when I tried the slot card wallet, I totally lost the refined look.
Luxury products ?? Yeaaaah but did I mention that I love to do many things at the same time ? So... yes I also do some carving, painting and dying job on veg tan leather, like masks, leatherflowers, bags with mythical beasts on it and such.
Well as a result, I'm not proficient in anything and here is my goal for the year : fine finishes on my products, especially the edges (mentioned that I'm perfectionist too 🙄 ?).
Hope to learn from you all soon !!
