My goal for our little group of like minded individuals with the same goals and aspirations of reaching leathercraft nirvana, is to have a healthy vibrant community where everybody gets along, helping, sharing and engaging.
Living in the real world for a second, this doesn't always happen. So I have taken the time here to highlight some ground rules for this forum. These will be periodically updated as needs be, so please check back from time to time to re-familiarise yourself.
Forum Rules
You must introduce yourself before posting any content or questions on this forum.
No spam. All automated messages, self promotion and advertisements posted without prior authorisation from admin / moderators will be removed and the account blocked.
Post in relevant sub-forums only. Messages posted in the wrong topic area will be removed and placed in the correct sub-forum by moderators. Also, do not post the same topic/question in several sub forums in an attempt to cast a wider net.
Respect other users. No abusing fellow forum members. Users who continue to post inflammatory, abusive comments will be deleted from the forum after two warnings are issued by admin / moderators.
No threats or harassment of other users will be tolerated. Any instance of threatening or harassing behaviour is grounds for deletion from the forum.
No profanity or pornography is allowed. Posts containing adult material will be deleted.
No direct promotion or advertising of services offered by similar businesses in direct competition to the Leathercraft Masterclass such as, but not limited to online courses.
Illegal content. Posts containing illegal content or copyrighted materials may be deleted.

If you are experiencing problems or issues with forum members, the forum, or the website and it's content, use the contact form on this website to discuss the issue. Do not post your issues on the forum without allowing me to resolve the problem first.
Please refrain from detailing specific techniques, materials, procedures, or what is/isn't discussed in the video courses on this site. Posts detailing video content may be deleted. All course content may be freely discussed on the new Mastermind Group.
You must post an introduction to yourself in the 'Introduce yourself' section of the forum before engaging. If this hasn't been done then you will be reminded to do so. Failure to do so will result in posts deleted. Avoid use of random numbers and symbols as your name. Accounts may be deleted on these grounds if we cannot contact you to amend them.
Sales on this forum are allowed, but business* must be conducted off the forum and is solely at the risk of the buyer/seller. Students or members using the forum for the purpose of buying or selling are not endorsed by myself or the Leathercraft Masterclass.
*asking questions, swapping details, transferring money, shipping items, complaints, disputes etc.
Forum Suggestions
If you disagree with something someone has posted, rather than informing them that they are wrong, explain why you feel that there is an alternative way/method. Remember to read your comments how others may read them.
If you feel that another forum member has attacked you, please email me directly philip@leathercraftmasterclass.com
The idea of the forum is to contribute. So when posting or replying to a post, please keep that in mind.
Please avoid posting pictures from other artisan's social media accounts/ websites and asking forum members to deconstruct and explain how it's done for you. Please be respectful that not everybody wants to share or have made known their techniques.
Please make sure that all your posts are not just questions that help you to solve your individual problems. We encourage contribution as well, no matter how small.
When posting, use a brief descriptive title others will understand, do not put your entire post/question in the title.
Be yourself, be open to other ideas and embrace new ways of thinking.
Browse and post regularly. We all want a leathercraft community that is pursuing leather goods excellence with a wealth of knowledge that we can all draw upon. Unfortunately this can take time, but it is all made possible by people like you who regularly post questions and answers, reviews and updates. So let's work together and create something amazing!
Thank you for reading,
Philip
