Good day, So I am trying to decide on what to call myself as people actually want to by my work, who knew lol. It seems most use their last name but I don't think "Gatto Leather" sounds very good maybe "Bespoke or Custom Leather by Gatto" but it still doesn't have a nice sound to it. Was wanting to get folks take on this..... Thanks
Frank
@Frank from Virginia, USA You're going to have to work hard to beat 'Frank Gatto' that's a gift right there.
I'd love to be able to use my full name, but few can spell either name correctly, so it's a Google dud from the start.
Customers only confusion might be with 'Frank Clegg'. But if you're being confused with him, you're doing alright!
Uhm, your name has a great potential.
Gatto means cat, so you can also work on a translation of that name like
Neko (In Japanese)
Katt (In Norwegian)
something along those lines.
Stephen Thank you for that!!!! Whats that saying .... sometimes we can see the forest for the trees
What’s wrong with “Frank Gatto”? Broad vowels, cacophony of “K” & “TT”. My tuppence worth is if it’s good enough for Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Tom Ford and Versace, it’s good enough for Frank Gatto.
Thank you that really helps totally appreciated
Man, there's a bunch of great potential in this name.
Just try to get creative ;)
If I'd do a very quick brainstorm, I'll start in this direction;
Gatto works/worx
Gatto stuff
Gatto Gold
Great Gatto
gaTTo
You may mix alle of this up with leathercraft wording:
Leatherwork, leather craft, craft, custom...
Try to identify your target group and imagine what would work for them.
If you are in bespoke and high end leather, Gatto Gold - Custom Leather works better than Gatto Ghetto Style.
Write all of your ideas down and ask friends, family and even potential customers what they're thinking about it. And don't get too mad about your first brand name decision. Normally you'll adjust, or even change it after a while ;)
Good luck!
