Hey Guys, A friend of mine asked me to make him a lever belt for powerlifting. I did so, and he's currently testing it... First impressions are great. However, I used a lever I got off of ebay, more specifically this one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lever-Belt-Lock-Buckle-Silver-SPARE-for-Weightlifting-Powerlifting-Gym-Training/322563725272?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 I am considering adding these belts to my webshop, but have NO idea if these levers are actually any good (the price strikes me as low). Does anyone know what the good quality brands/suppliers are for these things - preferably located in the EU and/or UK?

I can second the Iron Tanks buckle. I ordered one when I made my power lifting belt around 2 years ago. Going good so far.
Ive gone through a lot of these things, yes, 8 pounds is on the cheap end.
I dont even know what theyre made of to be completely honest. When they break, its like some grain pebble "metal" - I dont know if I'd call it that.
Sometimes they break, sometimes they don't. I've found a source for stainless steel levers, but not really willing to share as I'm the only belt maker on the planet offering them standard with my belts.
Best of luck - I think Iron Tanks makes some good quality ones
The only person I know that makes these is North Lift Belts, let's sees if we can summon him... @northliftbelts *starts chanting* mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm 🤣
