Trying Uniters EP 2000 and although they are matt finishes, I understand there are ways of polishing them to a gloss finish? I've tried heat, Tokonole, bee's wax, etc. and the paint remains matt. The bee's wax does make it glossier so I'm wondering what I'm missing? If someone can get it glossy, then goddangit so can I! :-) I gather Uniters does a glossy paint, the EP 1000 series but it's not easy to find.

I spoke to a supplier and his thought was that it's easier to go from a matte finish using a gloss-layer than it is to go from glossy finish back to matte, hence why more people use the matte EP2000 rather than the glossy EP1000. Admittedly, no one there knew why exactly, but this seemed a sensible conclusion. Mystery solved. ;-)
