Hi everyone,Anybody know how to cut and stitch Bic lighter sleeves the leather for this simple sleeve for a Bic lighter so as to avoid the “dog ears” as the base?

HenryJan 14Hey, I have a question about dyeing natural leather. What should be applied in turn and should the flesh be dyed as well?LikeReactions11 comment1Views
Try covering the entire piece of leather on the flesh side with contact adhesive and wrap the lighter with it.
When you've pulled everything in and crimped all the edges with edging pliers, trim leaving about 3mm excess for the stitching.
Rather than stitching it, carefully tease the glued seams apart making sure not to stretch the leather too much.
Place it down flat and trace onto card stock to create your pattern for that lighter shape.
