I've been playing around with some of the card slots using the tools I have. The smallest punch appears to be ~2mm which is small, but in my opinion is too large for creating the stress relief holes on the card slots. I thought a possible solution would be to use a round awl to make a hole and then seal it with some diluted PVA in an attempt to achieve a smaller hole that will still retain its shape. I am sure it will close slightly as there is no material being removed, but would it serve the purpose of preventing tearing? Has anyone tried something similar, or believe this will not work?

@Patrick Wolf Yeah, as Maru says, there are a number of retailers on AliExpress/amazon etc that cater for smaller punches. I would go that route first.
Here's that link if you are not reading this using a mobile device: LINK
