In this latest review I am taking a look at the famous Lin Câblé from France and talking a little bit about the story and history behind the brand.
I was sent these threads direct from Sajou in Paris where the owner Frederique also sent me a beautiful wooden case for review.
Coming full circle back to linen, especially Lin Câblé, has definitely left me feeling more in touch with the tradition of creating leather goods.
This is something I have been embracing more in recent times that has me feeling like I am part of something bigger through maintaining a heritage.
Please enjoy.

@philip how do you end your stitching when using linen?
OA Leather Supply in Canada sells small spools of it but only sells 632. I ordered some to test out and waiting for it to arrive. Of course, he now has more colors than when I ordered.
Definetly going to get me some.
I am designing a purse in Le French way (for once) and intend to use an awl and linen thread, so i shall get me some Fils Au Chinois.
also, for those who don't want to spend the big bucks to try them out, Sajou also sell their thread in 10m cards. It's a good way to try a thickness and color.
