Heyyyy...
I was missing too much to have time to read and write in the Forum...
As I started working again after some "leave" period at work, I find myself without time for anything, and it includes watching the videos and paying attention to the forum... in simple words: I miss you guys!
Ok, so as maybe you have read some time ago, I made a big mistake when buying a couple of awls to a guy here in Spain, the awls were awfully made, he didn't change them or refund the money... and blablabla.
As I kept the 2 awls at home, it was the time last weekend to take action and try to fix them, in order to give them some use. Otherwise they would be just a piece of waste.
Therefore I took some time to sharpen my tools and these awls as well, and I would like to show you the results. I know that I need to keep practising the sharpening methds, but anyway they look much better and they pierce the leather like butter now.
Sorry for the quality of these pictures!
Before and After...
@Maru Tuchi When life gives you a hard time or you go through a failure and the end result is that you are stronger or you have learnt a new skill to solve a problem - it's called success.
The skill you have just learnt is worth the price of the awls alone. Well done on your success.
