So, you sorted out the tips, to include the questionably named burning tip. Have you used it enough to determine "would I buy this again?" I've got a spirit lamp and some manual creasers right now. I'm trying hard not to be that much of a "gear-do," and overbuy stuff - this one, or a clone, is alluring to me.
Alligator Tip: When making a turned item (meaning something like a bag you construct inside out and then flip it) out of Glossy alligator skin, while flipping the item the gloss coat on top of the scales will crease. You use this tip on low heat setting to go over each individual scale to iron down the creases and polish them like new.
Wax Polishing Tip: Some people finish their edges with Wax. You can either use a cloth, burnisher, etc to rub down the edge to melt the wax in, or you can use this tip to do the same.
Edge Burning Tip: not sure really, i can imagine the use from the name but i do not understand the need for it. why would someone burn leather fibers? im curious to know.
I also think the names aren't that accurate, I've always known the 'wax polishing tip' as an ironing tip for removing larger creases. Mostly the wax spatula does that job (better in my opinion)
The burning tip is mislabeled, it’s a burnishing tip for the edge , this tip can handle high heat , that’s what I found on the internet, and we all know , the internet is always right
