Received LV iPhone wallet as a gift, and when I upgrade to iPhone X some years later the design had changed. Rather than buy a new wallet, I researched the one element which kept me from making my own, the non-sticky substance that the phone attached to.
After much research, there are two products on the market, the below listed one is what I believe LV uses to stick the wallet and phone together without the use of additional hardware.
They can make custom orders/runs etc. I bought the sample pack and that was enough for me. A word of caution, one company made a wallet where the suction came in contact with iPhone screens and it ruined/left a mark on that small section. So, don't adhere it to phone surface.

I can't say I've seen this before! A very interesting material.
I wonder if there are any other applications for it in leathercraft regarding products or even tool storage.
This is very interesting. I never heard of this before and it looks like you can make some really sleek and streamlined designs with it. I'm definitely going to look into this some more. Thank you
