Hello everyone! After my fail buying an Osborne splitter I am ready for the next adventure!
I am not sure if I should get the mini or the bigger one. But I guess you cant help me in this decision - but if you have any pros and cons besides its space saving, let me know!!
But a much harder decision is if I should increase the 'impression thicknes' that is normally 15mm - meaning the distance or space between letters and base plate. It can be increased up to 35mm.
My thought is: why not just make it as high as possible , you never know if you need it some day. Or will there be a downside doing that? I think 3.5cm is not very high, but I think that one could print a card box or some kind of packaging with it...
If you have any thought, please let me know:-)
@kilian The standard KSF machine was built to foil books. That's why it has an offset plate so that a book can be opened out and foiled in the corner.
The mini was created for multi use, portability and working in small spaces. It shares all the same components with the Standard KSF except the plate.
