im looking to buy a manual splitter what would you advise me?
my usage will be for a constante use for production of small leather goods like wallets and for the wrapping of piping for bags.

Hello,
for me, Small Leather Goods and Straps (like the wrapping of piping) require 2 different things. A manual splitter is perfect for straps but it will not work for Small Leather Goods (like to split down a hidden pocket for example).
If you want something that does both, you will need to invest in a Bell Skiving Machine. It will be versatile enough for both (and many other things).
If the budget does not allow, I would suggest the machine below and investing time into learning to skive by hand (for the small leather goods). Even if you do get the Bell Skiver, do invest time in learning to skive by hand, it is an essential skill.
