Evening all, new member hoping for some guidance on the typical or visually pleasing font size for a logo/brand-name die and a country of origin stamp. I am working primarily on the smaller goods right now (Watch bands, wallets and portfolios.) I understand from the hot foil video that 6pt was good for monogramming but I was hoping for a bit of insight from everyone on experiences with the creation of dies.

Philip, thanks so much for the response. I will post a brief introduction this evening but since we are here, a quick thanks to you for the program! It has already been a game changer in what I can do now and what I believe I am capable of doing in the future.
@dantesluna Hey there, welcome to the forum!
I based my die on the biggest size possible on the smallest product I made.
In my case, the smallest product was an 18mm wide watch strap.
Taking into account the seam width from the edge, my logo would fit on the underside 2mm away from the stitching on either side.
So it would really depend on what products you are making and your style. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get two sizes if you wish to make a range of products.
It would be great if you could pop over to the 'Introduce Yourself' section and tell us you name and a little about your journey so far. We would all be very interested!
Philip
