Strictly speaking contact-adhesives are not tools, but still... I have been using Tandy's Tanners Bond Contact Cement ever since I started. The reason being the guy where I took my first course is a Tandy dealer. The 8 oz (237 ml) tin cost me 37 EUR from him, and it's 19.99 at Tandy EU. It does its job quite well, but it's way toot thick for my liking. Enter the *The Techniques of Adhesion* course. I decided to give Evo-Stik a go. I got a 250 ml (8.4 oz) tin for 15 EUR, and some dilutant/cleaner. I can promise you, it's SO much better! I do not regret this purchase at all! I did forget to open the window when testing it, and boy, did I get high! Conclusion: Price: Cheaper than Tanner's Bond Performance: Destroys Tanner's Bond Conclusion: Tanner's bond is Sauron, and Evo-Stik is the One Ring being cast in the fire from whence it came.
