Hello folks, I recently saw the course about glue and adhesion and thought I would share a tip from back in the days when I worked in a paintshop/paintfactory.
@phil, is talking about bigger cans drying out and that you need to dissolve the glue from time to time as fumes leak out and air gets in.
I think one solution to this problem can be to store the cans upside down so that the content itself is the seal.
We always recommended costumers doing this to bigger cans of paint and I'm guessing it would work quite similar with glue.
Anyone willing to try and then spread the word if it does?:)
Hey Man.
Thanks for the tip.
I know from personal experience that it works for Solvent Based Contact Cement. I saw this trick somewhere on youtube a while back and I have been using it ever since :)
