I’m thinking aboutdoing some changes on the work space and one of those is go for a better work table.
I got many doubts regarding tables for the work space:
- should I go for a define height or try to do it by myself with a height adapted to me?
- it so, which is the best way to measure the needed height?
- do you recommend me to have just one table or go for some different spaces?
- in this last case, which different work will you perform in the diffetent spaces
- what different sizes should have this different tables?
Any help will be really appreciated
thanks!
Hey Mate,
so, I would suggest to obviously make one for your meaurements.
I would suggest a "standing desk" that you have up to your elbow. Basically, measure from your elbow to the ground. This way, when working on the table, you do not bend your back and it does not cause back pain after long hours of work.
Phil would also suggest you get a low bench, wrist high, for the jobs that require "pressing".
I personally have both and I have not used my wrist hight bench in at least 2 months.
My elbow bench is 100 x 150 cm. I find it perfect for what I need. I can work on 3 to 4 different small projects on it at the same time. And i can also work on a huge back on it with ease .
The wrist high table I rarely use, so I honestl do not have an opinion on how big it should be.
