Thanks, @Fadi . I've been using Ever Tack for a few years with success, though I'm always eager to hear about the next thing. What do we like about Renia 31 Aquilim beyond other water-based adhesives?
I'm lining with a vegetable tanned goat by Siegel Leather. It is tanned for re-covering Bibles, but I use it for all sorts of things and it has always taken glue well. The glue I typically use is Ever Tack, a water-based product I get through Springfield Leather. I'll mention that both vendors are in the U.S., since I don't have a sense of where the preponderance of subscribers to this forum are from.
Since posting the question earlier today, I called Wickett and Craig, and their 26-year veteran said no special glue is necessary for the bridle.
Yesterday, I tested my water-based glue, and it is holding well. One day ...
What material are you using for lining? It might make a difference. I’ve used both contact cement and Renia Aquilim 315 with equal success for different linings. I like the Aquilim 315 because it is water-based and doesn’t stink.

Same as @Terry Millard I use the Renia 31 Aquilim (which you can get in the US from Rocky Mountain Leather Supply) and it works wonders
Good to know. I'll grab the Ever Tack and get on with it, then. Thanks!
I use W&C English Bridle regularly and love it. If back is finished I usually hit it with sandpaper and use Aquilim. I have never had an issue.
