Hey Everyone, Seems like no matter how straight I hold my pricking iron the holes on the backside of my piece are not straight. They always have a bit of a waviness to them. The front side of the stitch looks great but I just can’t manage to hit the pricking iron straight through to the other side. Just wondering if anyone can offer some advice on this? Thanks!

Thank you Phillip. I have not seen that blog post. Great article, that pretty much answers my question. I think my problem is a combination of several things that you mentioned. My mallet is quite light. It usually takes several whacks to get the iron through. Leaves more room for wiggling the iron side to side. Going to try a heavier mallet and focus on the things you mentioned. Appreciate the response!!
@wilden.matt Hi Matt, just to establish what you know, have you read the blog post below and followed the guidelines?
