Does anyone treat their leather veg tan wallets to give the final product a polished/protected look? I find that once I’m done with a wallet, the outside typically has some burnishing cream stain or glue marks from some contact cement that might have rubbed on it. Do you guys wax or polish to get rid Of that stuff and protect the leather from scratches and scuffing?

@koorosh.sharghi I typically use a leather wax before cutting out my patterns. This gives a protective finish that will help to repel glue, edge compound or finger dirt during construction. Even a nourishing cream with added waxes will help.
If you add a finish wax after construction, it can get all over your stitching and attract dirt.
