So, im making a small bag for a friend, and making a strap for it, I only have like 1meter (3.2f) hide for it. And it needs to be a little longer. What is the best option?
I would think, I just but a 30degree taber on both ends, and sew it together. But is there any other options?
Like at some bags online, I found this. It clearly has a seam to the right. but it looks like 90degree?? Seams like a really bad idea?
When I see a seam in a strap, I think its because to be able to save money by using smaller leather pieces, I could be wrong of course. If I would lengthen, I would incorporate another material, like a chain or Ring - Leather - Ring. Or Fabric strap with leather ends
