I think you just put them through and then clip them and peen them. It seems the peening tool is hard to find though. There is one for sale from Rocky Mountain Leather Supply that is super expensive ($129). I am hoping to find a cheaper alternative. I wonder if there is anything for sale in the knife making community that could do the same thing for brass rod?
