Help with attaching hardware to leather

Detroit Name Plate offers more reasonably priced products, but they do not offer the same quality finish as Kennedy, and prefer to work with larger companies. Would rate my attempt to work with them as failed. Cost was like $250 for 50 brass plates, it has been a while and don't remember exact price. Process was simply contact them, upload PSD/JPG of image and choose radius for corners and thickness.

I use Aliexpress a lot. Sure, is not the same hardwere quality. Like solid brass, og real gold electro plating. I got these tags made. Paid 25$ for 100. with laser engraving. You can get anything made. If you need even better quality, then I thing Italy is your best bet.
