Hello, Who can tell me something more about FENICE edge paint. I heard it is better then Uniters. Who has experience with Fenice, and would like to share?
Hello,I haven't tried Fenice edge paint per se, but I have used the "pro-waterstain" that is sold by Tandy. It is a Fenice product and while it doesn't have a high build, it works very well to seal and color thin edges, while remaining flexible. It's thin enough that it tends to penetrate well and I've had good results on veg and chrome tanned tests (no long term real world use, though).
I don't currently have Fenice so I can't really do a comparison. I believe it is a little thinner than Uniters as standard. If you have access to Fenice at a good price, there's probably no reason to use Uniters. I would happily use both. Fenice was fine from what I remember when I used it some years back.
