I use 0.6 - 0.8 mm bevelers for 0.8 - 1.2mm leather
if it is in just the 1.1mm, i would go for a #o, max a #1
if you have multiple layers, then it depends on how many layers. But i generally never go more than a #2 for small leathergoods, no matter how many layers.
