Cleaning “stale” leather

So after cleaning it with a damp cloth and mild soapy water (saddle soap if you have it). Let dry, and treat with a product like Saphir Renovateur.

It looks to be pigmented leather, so cremes will probably only penetrate areas of wear /scratches /cracks.

If you want to restore it further, angelus paints mixed to match the color of the bag can be used to cover worn areas and cracks.

Sorry took a while to post these! I'll be putting a lining in so not worried about internal stains but would be nice to generally condition the leather a bit and get rid of some of the stale smell
