Hi All, I'm new to the craft and new to this class, so please forgive me if I'm asking a question that has been asked and answered a thousand times.
I am looking for the best adhesive to use in the States? I have tried to order Evo-Stik online, and can get the actual adhesive, but not the cleaner to dilute it with. When I try buying the adhesive thru Amazon UK, the merchants do not ship to the US.
Any help or suggestions are most welcomed. I am a carpenter by trade, so believe in using the best tools and supplies so that they are not what is holding my craft back- in other words, I have learned that using quality tools and materials eliminates a lot of headaches and when things don't turn out right, I know it is me that is the problem, not the material.
Thanks so much,
Brad
I have Renia Aquilim 315 and Renia Aquilim GL. GL has a longer open time if that’s something you need. There is no bad fume. I bought it at District Leather Supply.
@by.customsolutions If you prefer to stick with solvent based adhesives, Barge cement seems to be pretty well regarded over there. Hey, if it can hold a barge together! :)
On a side note, Bostik is the American company who own Evo-Stik. I wonder if they sell in the states..
Hi Brad! I usually order Renia Aquilim 315 from US sellers. Very nice adhesive, no smell and bonds pretty good.

It's out of stock now... Also from DLS, I think they just restocked it
