No wonder. Kind of weird that decimal point. I did struggle a bit to make all the pricking iron arranged equally when making card slots. I am using 3.38mm. thank you for the info.
@zfikri.cmud As far as I know they are metric conversions of the imperial measurement 'stitches per inch'.
But they are not always identical. For example 3.85 is closer to 6.5 stitches per inch which I've never seen. 3.38 is very close to 8spi, 3.0mm 9spi and 2.7mm 10spi.
I've never actually seen a European manufacturer use the metric system for pricking irons ironically, so I assume that it was created by Chinese and Japanese pricking iron makers.
