Hi all!
Just wanted to share with you, these 2 books I bought in 2017 and like a lot.
They are in French, I bought them without knowing the language (actually, I bought also a French/Spanish dictionary to try to understand better) but I understood it quite well as some words are similar to Spanish, my mother tongue. They also have lots of drawings and images so it's easier to catch the main idea.
"Le cuir dans tous ses états"
https://www.myctc.fr/livre/2577/le-cuir-dans-tous-ses-etats.html
This book is very nice because it explains all about leather: the history, the process and transformation from animal to final product, quality controls, kind of leathers, etc etc and brings little samples of different leathers at the back. I found it interesting to learn the whole process and understand better lots of details related to leather.
"Dictionnaire Technique de la Maroquinerie"
https://www.myctc.fr/livre/2881/dictionnaire-technique-de-la-maroquinerie.html
This is a dictionary that has approx 2500 terms and some explanations of different techniques (with pictures for better understanding), that can bring some light and I think it's very useful.
So, hope this post can be useful for all of you :)

@Maru Tuchi My copy of the Dictionary arrived yesterday. Thank you for the recommendation. I like the simple graphics and explanations. It is great to see diagrams of 3 or 4 seam options. I think it will give me a source for new ideas and help clarify some of the techniques I wasn’t completely sure about.
