@Daniel W. Yes, they are a business and they rely on having people view their videos with a sense of awe.
The guys that produce their content are very good to be fair, but without smoke and bright lights, smoothing an edge is pretty boring. I can understand that to some extent.
I've even seen one guy working his edge paint with so much heat that it's bubbling. He reckons that it's air bubbles coming out of the edge paint.
I don't blame him, there's such a lack of information out there that all people have sometimes is promotional videos coming from a source that they respect.
@talithawalakutty If you lower the ambient light, then wack up the ISO on your camera, as long as your fileteuse has been on full power for some time, you will see the element glowing.
Lol the first thing I thought about was that exact Equus video. When it's that hot it would almost bubble and burn the edge paint.
